Editorial Policy
We publish research, guides, and market commentary to provide you with useful information and insights. We aim to make our content accurate, clear, independent, and useful to readers while being transparent about how we work.

Why we publish at all
Most of the content we publish is useful and valuable information. The advice that exists in our guides, whether for founders, operators, or people who want to sell a business, is intended to be practical and informative. Our editorial material exists to help people think, not to tell them what to do.
Who writes and who reviews
Articles are written by our team and reviewed by qualified contributors with professional experience where appropriate. Anything that relies on third-party expertise is reviewed by a qualified professional where possible. We may use research or data from other sources, and these are clearly referenced where available.
Sources and evidence
Statistics, legal principles and market figures are attributed to their sources. We aim to use reliable and authoritative sources wherever possible. We do not publish our own marketing assumptions as facts. We regularly review our content and update it when we become aware of new information, particularly where laws, regulations, or market conditions change.
What we will not publish
We will not publish fabricated statistics, misleading claims, sensationalist or alarmist content, content presented as factual when it is unsupported, or material designed to manipulate or mislead readers. We avoid plagiarism and clearly identify material that comes from external sources. We do not publish content that is discriminatory, defamatory, deliberately misleading, or intended to cause harm.
Use of AI
We use AI tools for drafting, research assistance and analysis. We do not publish AI-generated material without appropriate human review. AI is not responsible for any published editorial content. Where AI has materially contributed to published content, we retain responsibility for checking and editing that content before publication.
Corrections
If something published is wrong, we will fix it. Corrections will be noted where the error is material. We may also correct or update content when new information becomes available. Where possible, we will make clear when a material correction or update has been made.
Independence
Editorial coverage cannot be bought. No listing, seller, buyer or adviser receives coverage, placement or a favourable mention in exchange for money. If an article or research piece has a commercial relationship with an organisation discussed, that is disclosed where relevant. Our own products and services may be mentioned in our content, but we aim to distinguish promotional material from editorial content.
Editorial material is not advice
Everything we publish is general information and should not be treated as financial, legal, investment, tax, accounting or other professional advice. Readers should seek appropriate professional advice before making decisions based on our content.
Feedback
Corrections, disagreements and suggestions for what we should cover are welcome. Please contact us through the appropriate contact channels.
