Frequently asked questions
The questions we are asked most often, answered plainly. If yours is not here, ask us directly — we would rather answer it than have you guess.
- What does it cost to list a business?
- Nothing. Browsing, searching, the valuation tool, the readiness assessment and building a listing are all free and need no account. You are asked to create an account at two points only: when you publish a listing, and when you request confidential information about someone else's business — both because the other side needs to know who they are dealing with.
- Do you take a commission when my business sells?
- No. We are not a broker. We do not represent either side and we do not negotiate, and we take no success fee on a transaction unless you have separately signed a written mandate with us that says so. Our terms contain no anti-circumvention clause and no exclusivity period: if you meet a buyer here and close the deal somewhere else, you owe us nothing.
- Will people know my business is for sale?
- Only what you choose to make public. Every listing has two halves. The public half is a description with no name, no address and no identifying detail — enough for a buyer to know whether it is worth asking about. Everything else stays private until you personally approve that specific buyer.
- Does a buyer have to sign anything before seeing my details?
- Yes. A buyer requests access, you decide whether to approve them, and they sign a non-disclosure agreement before any confidential material is released. The signature is recorded with the exact version of the agreement they accepted, when they viewed it and when they signed, so there is a permanent record of what was agreed.
- How long before my listing goes live?
- A person here reads every listing before it is published, and that takes two to three business days. We do this because a marketplace where anyone can publish anything is one where buyers stop believing the listings — including yours.
- Can I take my listing down?
- Yes. You can pause it yourself at any time and buyers stop seeing it immediately; nothing is deleted. To put a paused listing back on the market, tell us and we will make it live again — that step is not yet self-service. Withdrawing is different and permanent: we cannot put a withdrawn listing straight back live.
- How do you check that buyers are serious?
- Today, partly, and we would rather say so than imply more. Every buyer has a confirmed email address and a named account, every request for confidential access comes with their stated reason, and you approve or decline each one individually — nobody reaches your private information without your say-so. Identity checks and verified proof of funds are being built and are not switched on yet, so for now the judgement on each buyer is yours, with what they have told you in front of you.
- Can I check whether a company is real?
- Yes, and you do not need an account. Our company checker looks a Thai registration number up against an official government service and shows you what it holds — the registered name, the address, and what exactly was confirmed and on what date. It works for any registered company, not only the ones listed here.
- What size of business is this for?
- We focus on businesses changing hands in roughly the one to five million US dollar range — established, profitable small and medium companies rather than startups or very large transactions. Listings outside that range are welcome, but the buyers who come here are looking in that band.
- Do you sell my information?
- No. We never sell, license or broker your data, and we do not share your details with anyone you have not approved. We collect what the platform needs in order to work, and the privacy policy sets out exactly what that is, why, and how to have it removed.
